Definition of Centers: Centers exist to serve a
community of common interest within the Gathering community. The programs
and events of Centers are not the direct responsibility of FGC, the Gathering,
or the Gathering Committee. Centers exist where a group of like-minded
individuals have come together to create a series of events and/or space,
either physical or virtual, during the Gathering:
- That
serve(s) their common interests;
- Where
the community of interest is consistent with the principles and practices of
the Religious Society of
Friends and the overall program of the Gathering;
- Where
the existence of a Center enhances the overall experience of the Gathering.
