Mahala Ashley Dickerson Fund for People of Color

The Mahala Ashley Dickerson Fund is intended to benefit our Ministry on Racism. It provides broad support for anti-racism work, including defraying the cost of People of Color’s registration fees for FGC-sponsored meetings and other activities, as well as supporting program development and staffing. The funds cannot be used for travel costs as the Bayard Rustin Fund is specifically intended for that use. To ensure mutual accountability and to help our discernment process, all individuals requesting grants are required to fill out a budget in the application form that fully details the amount of grant requested and how the funds received will be spent.

Please answer the following questions fully. Your responses will be considered by a small group of Friends who are distributing the money in this fund.
Deadline for application: Later applications cannot be guaranteed funding. Where funding is sought for events other than Summer Gathering, please submit your application no later than one month prior to the first day of the event or by the scholarship deadline specified for the event, whichever comes first.

Meeting Support
Although you are not required to seek (or receive) funding from your monthly or yearly meeting, we would like to encourage meetings to give financial support to members and attenders to engage in the broader Quaker world.
